Certain people profess to be getting worried at the spreading Viggovirus. However, I believe, as in Asterix, there is still a strong bastion of Viggo-resisters holding out.

If I'm not wrong, they include <natasha1805, trianne and, of course, demelzagirl, at least. So take heart and take pride in your principled spineful stands!

I have nothing to say in my defense. Am lily-livered, mainstreamed mushroom. However, I do feel strangely subversive in my newfound role as cautious manly-bod-appreciatrix and downloader of dimpled-chin pics.

Which, however, will never ever extend to the man's excretions, i.e. so-called poems and so-called art. Puppy eyes also still a problem.

Eh? What? I love Viggo. I love him so much I am doing hairshirt and ashes for the guy re my dreadful fic about him. I now fully accept Viggo is a renaissance man, a saint, a scholar, an artist, all round good egg.

Well, the last time I had jury duty, I was the lone hold-out, the one who hung it, probably costing taxpayers countless thousands of dollars for a new trial. So, I'm unlikely to budge. I do like being called "spineful," though; it makes me sit up straighter. *g*

I watched "A Walk on the Moon" recently, which a Viggo-loving friend assured me would change my mind about him. While appreciating him in an abstract sort of way, I remain immune to the hair, the puppy-dog eyes, the hands, the dimpled chin, the artsy-fartsy-ness.

Now off to man my gun on the walls of the Alamo. *ready to go down in a blaze of principled and spineful glory*

A uniform is a great idea! Maybe something hobbity, but with longer trousers? and boots? *g* I wish we knew what Merry & Pippin are going to be wearing for their little warrior outfits.

*raises hand* I've not succumbed to the Viggovirus, either. Er. At least I don't think I did. I did write him in some drabbles, but for the sole and express purpose that neither Orlando nor Sean would be in love with him, or even incline towards it. *raises eyebrows hopefully and awaits diagnosis*
