The matches are on at six in the morning here. Thank god I'm off Tuesday to tour the North Island, otherwise my Italian flatmate and his friends, who no doubt will be yelling and screaming the whole time, would drive me nuts. Not much soccer (Fussball!) love here. But I do quite enjoy the rugby (which 'we' won last night, neener), lots of manly men groping and touching.

I didn't know you were a closet football fan. I am surrounded by them, on f-list and RL... We live in a very Portugese neighborhood, so much sullenness on Saturday, and was a a match barbecue for the England game last night, where everyone got so depressed and appetite-less I ended up cheerfully eating veggie sausages entirely alone.
