What a game! The drama! The spectacle! The sheer display of masculinities!

I love it. I love penalty shoot-outs. The emotion! It's when football turns into tennis. Plus: Goalie pitted against goalie: pure theatre.

Ronaldo! Ricardo! I'm so glad I'm going to be seeing them again.

The disallowed goal!!!!!

The dodgy penalty spot!!!!

Urs!!!!!

That was great spectator fun. And a nice bonus that the side I was rooting for won. Although, as far as I'm concerned, that disallowed goal was a goal.

I am plotting attendance at a Cameroon match for the World Cup. Oh yes, I am.

And Gary looking gently tanned.

My life apart from football is sort of crap. Well, not my life: my job situation. I had thought it couldn't get worse but it has.

That goal was *so* a goal!

I have now come round to the view that the goal was not a goal after all, and that Ricardo was totally hemmed in. But oh, the drama of it all! It was all packed in there!

Yes.
Everything you said. Same thing with the disallowed goal. At first it looked like it should have been allowed, but looking again there were England players in the way which would have made it kinda impossible to save.
And your icon. *loves*

Sorry to hear re. job. Major sympathy. I am trying to work up the courage to become unemployed, currently.

On a cheerier note, I loathe football, but have become far more reconciled to the whole affair via football slash, which at least lends some kinky back-narratives to nil-all draws.
