Note: I have deliberately disabled comments because I don't want any agreements or disagreements, and I certainly don't intend these as flattery nor to be about the authors themselves (just about their fics) so I don't want any thank-yous from authors here. The best thank-yous are: more fics, *g*! And if keen on commenting: do start your own author treasures (or whatever you want to call them).

Author treasure nr. 1
Why I like Brenda's fics
I like Brenda's fics because they are so diverse. I wanted to say I like their racy style but then I remembered some that have a very lyrical style. I wanted to say I liked their raunchy sex (and I do!) but then I remembered some that have no sex at all, just understated tenderness. I wanted to say I've laughed out loud with delight but then I remembered some that have driven me to tears. I like the way Brenda is not afraid of any challenge, any theme, any pairing; she's always trying to blaze new ground. She mixes short vignettes with long, delicious series and shameless PWPs with plotty, complicated fics. And I like her dialogue as well as her sparse way of sketching in detail: evoking a lot with a little. And nobody conjures up men's sexiness quite like Brenda does.
Brenda's fics have inspired me to experiment with weird pairings and to go out and research whatever is out there to be researched. They've inspired me not to be afraid of anything, to try and write anything I take a fancy to, and I continue to aspire to her amazingly orlandishly prolific output, *g*.
I could go on but I want to keep these short and manageable, *g*.
