Why am I preoccupied with low-intelligence mammalian forms?

The new guinea pigs are not nearly as lively as the old guinea pigs. The old guinea pigs cavorted about, making cute squeaking noises and talking to each other. They were brothers. The new guinea pigs sit hidden under their straw; they don't move; they rarely come out to eat; they dont' make a sound. They are not sisters.

Oh, I hope they'll settle in soon and be fun!

All of this projective worry, no doubt, because t'h and t'youngest are off to Australia for 3 weeks next Monday. I'm staying here with t'elder. We'll miss them!!
