Now that children's fiction is up for slashy grabs (Harry Potter fandom and [livejournal.com profile] resonant8's recent Astrid Lindgren fic are just two examples), here's a thought for the Germans out there:

How about some Jim Knopf?

Jim/Lukas would seem to be the standard Viggorli or Remus/Harry kind of combination.

Totally canon: Nepomuk/Uschaurischuum.
Herr Aermel/Koenig Alfons-der-Viertelvorzwoelfte.

Rare pairings: Lormoral/Oberbonze Pi Pa Po!
Herr Aermel/Herr Tur Tur!
Ping Pong/little eskimo boy!

Fem would be catered for via Lisi/Sursulapitschi. Or, indeed, Frau Malzahn/Frau Waas.

For the incest kink: Emma/Molly! Lokcest.
And of course, absolutely orgiastic twincests: pirates, pirates, pirates! (And 100 percent canon, too!)

Plenty of interspecies for all tastes: we have Scheinriesen, people, merpeople, locomotives, and dragons galore.

There's something for everyone: a cast of thousands, a ready-made world, teh pretty and teh rugged'n'rough, teh manly and teh ephebic, and teh totally and utterly insane.

*cackles in horror at vision created by self*

Oh, and the rants one could have about bookverse vs TV-puppetverse vs TV-cartoonverse vs audiocassetteverse!

At least it wouldn't be the usual part A goes into part B!

Neville/Draco is my HP otp. :-)

And I still find the idea of Lokcest very delightful.

A Scheinriese would probably be disappointed by the world itself because his cock looks HUGE when he's far away but it's normal sized when he's reached the one who wants to, um, see it closely. :D

Jim/Lukas... You just ruined the last innocent thoughts of my childhood. :D

Der Scheinschwanz! Omg. *falls over*

And re ruining childhood innocence: I know! My ears were practically aflame as I typed this. But somehow I couldn't stop myself... Does it need an LJ-cut??

Heh. I guess it doesn't need an LJ cut. :D

Just one last thought: Hanni & Nanni.

wait...isn't there a huge blyton fandom?

i know mallory towers has a big following, though i have yet to figure out whether it's hanni&nanni or dolly (or maybe even another one?) that means that they must have translated names&locations as well??? [i am an ocean away from my books, so i really can't check...]

re jim knopf...love the scheinschwanz but always liked das urmel better...can we slash any of them (or make it a xover???)

IS there really an Enid Blyton fandom??? But is this in German? My mind if now boggling twice over at encountering the tempestuous Darrell and Sally (always described as 'solid little Sally', though I'm not sure if this referred to her figure or her morals) and Gwendolen Mary et al in fandom, possibly in German...

As [livejournal.com profile] badgermonkey pointed out ages ago: schoolgirl slash is hot! She's the one who got me onto reading Philip Larkin's juvenilia which is rampant boarding schoolgirl sex. Quite astounding. All written in the 1940s.

Simply spiffing!

Yes, I've read Larkin's 'Trouble at Willow Gables' and adored it. Much bouncing and pyjamas and gym tunics and pashes and spanking with hairbrushes. It was given to me by a most respectable friend in whose company I had never perved in any way - but clearly the potential oozed out, somehow.

My partner claims he found Darrell Rivers et al from Malory Towers desperately sexually exciting when he was 12. All that throwing off one's sweaty tennis-dress and leaping into the rockpool etc.

What a jolly good thing it all is, really. Tophole.

it's an old german tv show that was showing around 7pm right before the little kids had to go to bad. It was always like "so know we watch the sandmännchen and he brings you wonderful dreams"
It was first shown only in east germany but then they showed it here in west germany too. I loved it :)

The Sandmännchen is a little men who sends the kids to sleep with his sleeping sand and then gives you the perfect dream.

I know Sandmännchen, of course! And suspected something Ossi-ish about these Schnatteri-beasties. :-)

Sandmann, lieber Sandmann... I'll be humming that for the rest of today, you know.
