Title: The Cactus Where Your Heart Should Be
Author: [livejournal.com profile] 3jane
Pairing: Crabbe/Goyle + Draco
Rating: NC-17
Length: 4 pages
Summary: The summer after fifth year's kind of depressing. Draco sulks. Crabbe and Goyle amuse themselves.

Why I liked it:

This is absolutely gorgeous. It's got a wonderful atmosphere, is believable, makes Crabbe and Goyle be sweet, creates hints at very, very good backstory, creates a brilliant dynamic between C/G and Draco (explains everything to me, anyway! is now my canonic fanon) and has, as delicious bonus bits, some absolutely wonderful pieces of magic. A great and unusual evocation of Malfoy Manor. And oh, some lovely, lovely sex. Very well written.

I saw the Leighton House for the first time a few months ago. I love it! What other houses did you see? What other houses were on offer? I've never heard of this Open Day: was everything free? Can I come next year?

We also went to Banqueting House, Apsley House and the Guildhall. There are hundreds of buildings open and you should definitely come next year!

Open House London has been going for quite a few years now and is a brilliant idea. The woman who thought it up and is the guilding light behind it is quite a powerhouse and has managed over the years to make it a real thing for companies, government departments and individuals to do. You do have to queue for many of the more famous places but if you plan properly you can get to see lots in a reasonable space of time. All this and it's free!!
