Happy birthday, dearest and shnooziest badgermonkey!!!

No fic this year, alas, but you know how it is: first the fandom love goes, then the ability to write origfic goes, and finally what is left is a bizarre obsession with one's career life... Perhaps, though, I may rouse myself enough to compose at least a little txt -- which will be more apt and appropriate, anyway!

I have much to discuss with you re secondary schools in t'UK about which (after five Open Evenings) I now know more than I ever wanted to know but I will leave that for a day that is not your birthday.

Are you perhaps going to learn German next? That would be fun.

Grazie! I could read all of that sentence, oh the excitement. Plus I just bought an Italo Calvino book in Italian off eBay! :falls over:

You know, I was considering German next, seeing as how Romance language clearly hold no challenge for me. I still have Spanish to get to grips with but it was too easy and I lost interest before I even got to the past tense.

Plus you get to use those nifty umlauts. And that sexy ß. I definitely think you need to tackle a Germanic language next. And seeing as Danish is possibly out of the question, unless you are masochist or inveterate Festen-fan, German is the obvious choice. Plus so many shiny, shiny text books! And you get to chat to me.

After German, I suggest Czech.
