Is it weird that I haven't posted any fics in ages and ages? That in my first year in fandom I posted a fic every three weeks on average and now I post nothing? That I brood over one mega-fic for months and months without ever actually writing substantial amounts of it down? That I can even survive without feedback?

Perhaps LJ does that to you. It allows you to survive without fb. That wasn't possible on the lists; there it was: get fb'ed or die. Unless you lurk. Which I don't.

But god, that's a gorgeous view out of my new loft study right now. Pale blue sky, dotted clouds scudding from left to right, foliage and winter branches waving and a swoosh-swoosh of wind.

Um, well, I'll go back to the mind-consuming business of not-writing then, shall I?

Even more to the point: why ain't I writin' my effin' book?

I'm not writing my book because I'm frightened to, I'm shirking, my mind is a mess and I"ve got writer's block. Ack.

I am so sorry, writers block sucks. I have nothing to offer in the way of support on that, but hope that you manage to clear your head and get something down very soon.
