Is there life beyond cleaning?

lobelia321I have begun to buy books from my world literature list! Today I bought:
Alain-Fournier, Le Grand Meaulnes (France)
Ismail Kadare, Broken April (Albania)
and one that isn't on my list but is from a country that's on my list:
Antal Szerb, Journey by Moonlight (Hungary)
Mmm, they do look nice on my shelf.
Waterstone's also had Siegfried by Harry Mulisch (Netherlands) but a Dutch book I prefer to read in German as I think that's going to be closer to the original in flavour, so I'll get that via amazon.de.
I also cut out the new Brad Pitt Tag Heuer ad and bluetacked it up on the wall above the kitchen sink. Now, the Stepford Club promises me that my SHINY SINK will make me smile (and it's true, it does but inwardly) but Brad makes me smile broadly and outwardly.
Now if anyone can tell me how to download that picture from that stupid site (it's the blue one, in the leather jacket), I'll be a happy bunny. :-)

And, yes George Clooney is just... he's the man who has chemistry with everything. Me and Blythely refer to him as the most gorgeous man on earth. *sighs happily*
p.s. the scans are huge but not particularly good.
