::loves:: And oh my, how much do I love this description of sexual tension? Much? No. Very very very much. Although it would interest me what you mean by "echo of lotrips?" Is it because it's much heavier with the setting than many HP fics seem to be? I noticed that HP fics aren't nearly as interested in landscape and weather and nature as Lotrippers often seem to be...

Also, regarding the post before this one: Petunia is secretly very much in lust with her favourite duster. Mrs Figg is just second choice.

Oh, I am in love with dusters. Now that I am a slave of the FlyLady, I lust after one of her luxury ostrich feather dusters. Hm, perhaps this is why I am suddenly empathising with Petunia??

The lotrip echo is manifold. It's partly just because it's your style, and I don't know many others who write in both. Also, yes, the setting but more, of which the setting is really a part. Lotrips is more about atmosphere and mood and the unspoken while HP tends to be more plot-driven -- and your fic is definitely more about moods. Also, your boys are less angsty wizards than alcohol-drinking and spaghetti-cooking lads, and the lotrips boys were forever drinking alcohol and cooking for each other. *g*
