seeking fics with no sad endings

I am desperate for some fic recs but they need to have an ending that brings the guys together. There needs to be fulfillment in the 'they confess their love' department, although the actual word 'love' need never get mentioned. I just, at the moment, cannot handle a fic where in the end the guys are torn asunder, be it by death or by own stupidity and stubbornness and in-the-closet-ness.

If there's lots of sex, that'd be nice but it's an optional extra as long as there's delicious slashy unresolvedness and gruff maleness, and there can be angst galore, just not at the very end.

Any pairing, any fandom, not too phenomenally plotty, no wips (obviously as they have no happy ending!), and ideally, not longer than 150 pages.... But please! Something delicious!!!

you probably haven't seen the movie but there are a handful of good writers in this fandom. all the recs by thefourthvine are good.

following are my particular favourites:

madrugada by khaleesian - two boys racing cars in the middle of the night.

it takes one to know one by thisisbone - who is also wrote almost which is pretty delicious. "it takes one to know one" is a point break crossover - paul walker and keanu reeves and surfing. the latter is a hot first-time fic.

if you want something lengthy, all maygra's fic is good - very plotty and angsty, but so worth it in the end. they can be found here.

Oooh, I just peeked at the pics! I've seen a bit of this movie, on late-night TV! But it looked such shite I just turned it off again after 10 minutes only to find that it has this huge fan following!

Eye fucking!!! I had never thought of that!

And I have no idea whether two boys look like that fighting. They may very well look like that fucking, though.

Hallo! Is it wrong to stumble into your journal and rec myself? I know we've run into each other in shel's and childeproof's LJs but I didn't remember if you'd ever sampled any of my wares. *G*

"Married" is an Eric/Orlando that's got some angst, some humor, lots of smut, and the boys are umm...satiated at the end...hee...

"Touching" is my ongoing saga that could be considered a WIP but at Chapter 9 I've reached a resolution of sorts that made long-suffering readers quite happy and prompted one person to ask if it was the end....hee. So you wouldn't be left hanging if you tackled that one, and it's prolly only 90 pages all together, I think. And there's lots of humor and Orli and hobbits and the angst is on the humorous side so I think it might provide you with some needed cheer. :)

"For Gondor" and "Fantasy" are fluffy smut to the point of parody, really...hee. "Trust" is my first-ever RPS so it's not my best work but it's smutty and ends well.

The rest have more ambiguous endings or are still in progress. I do like happy endings, though, or at least endings with hope!

As for other's work, I always have to rec perseph2hades phenomenally dirty and fun Bean/Bana/Bloom series which is *here* (http://users.adelphia.net/~perseph2hades/troy_rps.htm).

And I have a crazy soft spot for aleathiel's fic *Squiggles* (http://www.livejournal.com/users/aleathiels_fics/17428.html) which has Viggo and Orlando in an AU caveman situation and it just makes me deliriously hot and happy.
