I just love being addressed as a man like this. I feel so slashed! Except that it's het so it's more like cross-gendering or something.

Btw, news on the car front: t'h took it to the VW dealer and they had it there for a day and issued an MOT certificate!!!. We have a reprieve!! Because I hate doing things under time pressure. But I'm keeping that Toyota at the back of my mind. I actually went to the Toyota dealers and had a look at some used ones, except I couldn't stand being smooth-talked by the car salesman. Luckily, I could pretend to be as clueless as I actually am because of the woman thing (yeah, no spittin' or swallowin' there, pout those lipsticked lips). T'h, otoh, pulled out his balls'n'cock at VW and did the man-to-man thing. Works like a charm. Ah, don't you just love gender stereotypes.

But the Toyotas are kind of ugly. And it annoys me that new cars don't have tape players, just CD players. I have dozens of compilation tapes that I need to hear in the car!

It's sunny and the pigs are in their outdoor hutch. I am planning to bake bread today and buy plants for t'garden. How domestic am I!!!!!

Um, I had other interesting things to say but they escape me now. Something about fic writing and book writing and how you have nothing to fear but fear itself (ah, the days when American presidents had stature!). Or something.

I suppose I think of myself as childeproof, insofar as I think of myself as anything other than someone who just wrote something irresponsibly and reprehensibly looong while I should have been behaving like a responsible professional.

You would have been proud of me today - I felt very FlyLady as I washed floors and beat carpets, although the truth is I am looking for a summer tenant for my house here, so was trying to remove the very obviously dilapidated look of the place before a fussy-sounding professor of Economics from Pennsylvania arrived.

Oh no, floor washing and carpet beating is not FlyLady. FlyLady is about 15 minutes a day and 'no crash and burn'!! But you are allowed to do 'crisis cleaning' but only in 15-minute bursts. In between you must sit down and 'drink water'.
