soon to go to france

Hello, everybody. I hope you are keeping well.

I've not checked in much lately. This is due to:

* parental visit, trip to the Peak District (verdict: pleasant landscape but full of chavs) and obsessive mahjongg playing with mother, father and son

• impending France holiday - I am so happy to note that it is over 30 degrees in the south of Provence every single day! No tornado in sight! Nor the need to wear 'unseasonal' bulky jackets.

• ongoing anxiety over t'book

• a slight case of LJ fatigue (does anybody else ever get that?) - I'm more liable to read FlyLady testimonials than zoom to my Friends page. What does this say about me?

I get LJ fatigue periodically, myself. Took a few months off this last time and thought I might not come back... but in the end, I'm here.

If you ever do go away permanently, I shall have to dust off my emailing skills!

Even when I'm totally fed up with LJ, I have to read the flist in its entirety. I have to get to the bottom in case I miss anything. This is because I am mad and neurotic. However, I'd really better start making better use of this journal because I just bought 12 months of paid time and then wondered why.

Knowing that you read the Flist all the time in its entirety makes me feel that I ought to contribute more substantially! Ack. Yeah, right, let's do some division of labour: you can be mad and neurotic about reading the Flist, and I can be obsessed and angsty about what to post on it. *g*
