i cannot see my email

Help! Has anybody else ever encountered this problem?

I've got a yahoo mail account and all of a sudden I can't see a thing on it. I click on 'Inbox' and all I get is a blank screen with the ads on top. I have an iMac OS 8.6.1 and use Internet Explorer for the Mac, version 5.1. Does anyone have any idea at all what to do to get my email back???

I feel cut off on a desert island!

I have this problem sometimes on my Macs running OS9 and OSX -- I'm using 5.1 as well. I suggest trying Safari or Netscape.

it happens with safari on OSX too (although i use hotmail). i have to wonder whether it's just those crappy webmail accounts playing up.

Hmmmmm...it could be, but I think it's more likely that it's crappy old version 5.1 of Explorer for Mac. I use Explorer to pay my bills on my Mac and there's a few sites that I MUST switch over to Netscape in order to get the site to work. :=)

I tried Explorer 5 but that didn't work,either. So back to Netscape.

Pooh. I ended up using my ancient Netscape.

I did switch to Netscape and it worked. My Netscape is so ancient it takes me ages to do anything but at least I can see my ruddy mails! Thank you.
