I seem to be always away these days. First the Peak District (chavs), then Provence (divine), then last night we came back from two days in Herefordshire (birthplace 1 1/2 years ago of my HP opus of t'mind), and on Friday we're off to Holland for the parent's huge anniversary dinner for which I am yet to finish my speech, let alone outfit the children with costumes, specially-composed songs, lines to recite and ...!!!

*waves at all of you as self rushes past en route to elsewhere*

But, oh, this weather!!! *ADORES*

Also, I learned three poems off by heart over the weekend. Samuel Taylor, Kubla Khan. Percy Bysshe, Ozymandias. And the inscription over the Gates of Hell from Dante t'Divine!!

Kubla Khan! I impressed the heck out of t'husband and child recently, but reeling off the first six or eight lines of that (after having it dormant in the back of my brain for a few decades). Now I want to go back and relearn it.
