kia has died

hjartad died yesterday, it appears, and I'm quite shocked. I dug around in various LJs to find out more but I don't even know whether she was ill or whether it was sudden or what. (trianne and blackkoda say a tiny bit about it.) I never met Kia but I know she was in the UK for a year a while ago. I betaed her very first fic, and a few thereafter. Her first story was so awful but she was so nice about the changes I suggested and then she just kept forging on with her fics, and they kept getting better and better. Whenever I saw a fic of hers, I had this little absurd proud feeling, as if she was under my wings somehow but now full-fledged.
Please, dear LJ friends, take care of yourselves and don't die just yet!
