kia has died

Just a week after the LJ death shock, I hear that another LJ friend has died, and this time it really is someone I knew. Kia or hjartad died yesterday, it appears, and I'm quite shocked. I dug around in various LJs to find out more but I don't even know whether she was ill or whether it was sudden or what. (trianne and blackkoda say a tiny bit about it.) I never met Kia but I know she was in the UK for a year a while ago. I betaed her very first fic, and a few thereafter. Her first story was so awful but she was so nice about the changes I suggested and then she just kept forging on with her fics, and they kept getting better and better. Whenever I saw a fic of hers, I had this little absurd proud feeling, as if she was under my wings somehow but now full-fledged.

Please, dear LJ friends, take care of yourselves and don't die just yet!

As far as I knew, Kia was a very sweet and rather charming person. This is very sad news.

Thanks so much for this tiny bit of extra info on Kia. It is very sad and seems very sudden.

And yes, I have to say that although we have never met I feel as though I know you almost irl! It feels as though we should have met. I'd be devastated if you suddenly disappeared from my Friends list.

I'm curious who deleted all of her LJ accounts (she seesm to have had several). I hate to think of a person's online "existance" as simply being erased. LJ will actually agree to keep the LJs of people who have died.
