In other shock-horror news: I have become mildly addicted to the Sims! It is the first game evah that I have played on an X-box; I didn't even know what all the buttons on the controller were for but t'children were quick to teach me and now they fall over with hilarity and mild shock at their obsessed mother.

I am completely pants at it which adds to the attraction.

omg, I had a look. You can do this??? You can slash Sims? You can do man/man?? It's programmed? *boggles* but what version did yoiu have? Mine was way tamer. You never saw full-on nudity or lying-in-bed. Are there kids' and adult's versions????????

omg, I feel so corrupted!!

Oh no. I've corrupted you?! Geez, another one! :)

The game I played was the original SIMS game. It's not exactly programmed, but you can put two men in a house and make them kiss. There are patches that you can download from SIMS fan sites that let you incorporate nudity and sexual situations.

I upgraded to SIMS 2 but my video card is not up to it. :(

We borrowed a thing called Sims-Bustin' Out from Blockbuster, it's for X-Box. The children chose it, ack, and I continued after they'd gone to bed! They now look at me strangely as I point to a chair and shout, "I'm clicking on this, go here and have dinner!"

I once spent 12 hours straight playing The Sims. It's crack, man.

Oh. My. God. It's all downhill from here.

Says the one and only person in the world who lacks the game-playing gene.
