I used to chat, and then I stopped, but now I find when I want to chat there is nobody to chat with.

So where is everybody chatting these days? Are people no longer using aol AIM? What's the new cool place to hang??

Most of the people I know are on Y!M. I have gone back to AIM now as well - isiscolo (duh).

There used to be a group of SGA slashers getting together on IRC server squidge, channel #pnp (prime-not-prime) but it seems a rare occurrence lately.

I'm on AIM (tracarvic) and Yahoo chat (tracer_vic@yahoo.com) most of the time. Except now I am at work. :)

I never chatted until my friend, who dragged me into LJ, dragged me into chat, screaming and kicking. She got me hooked on ICQ which, after being stuck with AOL/AIM this summer when something glitched, I agree is much superior. Don't know if that's where the cool kids hang out though. (Since I'm not it, probably not! Maybe more the geeks, snicker.) Another friend, in England, is on yahoo, so I go on that to chat with her (though the time difference really sucks--I think it's um six hours from Texas to England). As far as I recall I'm in all of them under some version of my LJ user name (sometimes it's just ithiliana, sometimes ithiliana13 if there is another gasp ithiliana in the system).

I never thought AIM was teh coolest, have always been a Yahoo girl, but I'm on both nowadays, travelingcarrot on AIM and yavanna_ainu on YIM. And I'm in your time zone, too!
