It really is the strangest sense of isolation. No one else seems to understand, since I haven't met any of you in person. That doesn't make it any less lonely, though.

I have never been away from LJ that long! And without a reason, like travel or self-flagellation.

And I know quite a lot of LJ people irl by now so I have no idea how weird it must be not to know anybody and then to be cut off!

I was bored. A lot. I was very frustrated, not just because of LJ, but because I'm trying to start a business and can't manage it without a computer. I probably read more than I ever have in my life. Tons and tons of John LeCarre. I'll try to recap on [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. I hated not being able to get up when I had insomnia and get caught up on fics. I wondered if everyone was okay. I really did feel like I'd travelled to the ends of the earth with no way to communicate with those I'd left behind. May it never happen again!
