How's the new puter, eh? LJ has been arse for days, logging people out and generally being a right pain. :(
I rather like Laz Wainthrop as a name. ;)

Date: 2006-01-25 11:06 pm (UTC)I didn't know that LJ had been a pain all round. I thought it was because I reconfigured my ISP settings due to now having a gateway router and a wireless airport thingy. In fact, as I type I am sitting in my bed!!!!!!!!! *would fall over if were upright*
The ibook has been a mixed blessing. As you know, I've been in a complete state about it. This meant that I didn't get any work done today and felt bad. I am also slightly spooked and overwhelmed by the newness of it. It is not familiar! Where are my old keyboard shortcuts, bookmarks, customized set-ups, checklist of LJ Friends, blah blah, a thousand customized details. And it took me ages today to transfer just a handful of files. I must de-stress and take it step by step. Otherwise, the ibook is a complete joy!! It is so beautiful it hurts my senses.
