Miss Honey:

Isn't she the cutest thing ever?

In my HP opus, she is now the new Defence against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts.

God, I love cross-overs! Well, sometimes. In my opus I do. In my opus, whenever I need an origcharacter I try to turn it into a cross-over character, if at all humanly possible. But Miss Honey was there from the start, only she wasn't always called Miss Honey. She was part of the initial plot bunny! Which is only fitting as she rhymes with that.

I need a barber character now. Anyone know any suitable candidates? The Barber of Seville?

Oh, and the actress's name is Embeth Davidtz.

This is Embeth Davidtz playing the part of the teacher Miss Honey in the film version of Roald Dahl's children's novel Matilda. :-)

OH, she's perfect. I remember Embeth Davidtz from Schindler's List ages and ages ago. She was fantastic

Isn't she a peach? Do you think she works in HP?

Also, did you know that I followed Flylady's advice on what to do when ill? I put on my lace-up shoes every morning (I lay on my bed with a rug under my feet!!) and some nice clothes. I did my morning routine! I even "pampered" myself by not pressuring myself to make dinner but ringing for take-away pizza.

I think she's perfect! Especially with those glasses!

Wow, you really are devoted! I think the whole reason FL isn't working for me is my stubborn resistant to lace-up shoes. I shall shop for some asap!

Oh, forget the lace-up shoes. I did the first four months of FL in zippered boots!

See, I think the zippered boots should work just as well, because you can't just slip out of them!

Exactly!

Except I've now become addicted to lace-ups so what can you do. I love the nurse-ish look of them. They are like ballerinas, except for winter!

But now I have discovered that lace-ups are me!

Except in summer when flat ballerinas are me.

And if I had money in which case knee-high brown leather pirate boots with buckles would be me.
