I feel worse than this morning. I feel really wretched. There is a fist in my stomach. I spent most of the day on the sofa. T'poor children, it's their half-term. I feel weak. If this goes on till tomorrow, we won't be able to drive to Herefordshire. :-( I hope everyone else is well.

Ugh, that's horrible. Stomach things are just awful, awful. Hope you feel better very soon. As for me, I'm well apart from feeling dizzy and foggy and all the time, because my body craves brain-drugs.

Um, I'm not duck. That's [livejournal.com profile] sheldrake. But I am better! So the aromas must have helped!!

Hee, I think soph was actually replying to my comment, but it's ok - I'm willing to share my aromas and duck-status. :)

The brain-drugs thing is interesting. Presumably you took them in the first place because you were feeling awful. so do you now feel better or worse?

Oh, better. Without question. I actually feel better, mentally, than I have for at least a decade. Probably longer. It's taken me a couple of years of experimentation and ups and downs, but I genuinely feel there's been a great change in the way I approach life. I don't say the drugs did it, but I don't know if I could have got here without them. They just seemed to (eventually) lift the mental fog long enough for me to see the way out.

Physically just at them moment I feel very slightly dreadful, but it should last too long, hopefully. I'm just a bit fed up because there's no way I can take any time off at the moment and I just want to take to my bed, waaah!

Yes, yes! That is, I haven't actually secured the day off but I'm sure there won't be a problem. My boss's mother just died, so I feel bad about bothering her with things. But as I say - can't forsee any problems.

Oh dear re boss but just let me know. What shall we DO? We could just chill, of course. I keep forgetting that Cambridge might be mildly interesting to someone who doesn't live here. I am on a London trip at the moment; the best thing about CB is that it's so close to London. Ipswich was in the news! It was on the Radio 4 news quiz. I will tell you all about it on Friday!!!

I put the holiday request form in her tray, but I fear she hasn't actually looked in her tray for some time now. I may have to subtly slide it onto her desk until it's under her eyes.

I think chillin' sounds good. Let us chill. And possibly hang out. But - Ipswich on the news!! Am agog!

Ipswich. News. Let us say that the word 'news' must definitely be placed within quotation marks in this instance.

i hope it's not a sofa but a velveteen chaise-longue or fainting-couch. you deserve to look elegant even when stricken.

*frowns* hope, too, that you're better tomorrow.

I looked good while ill, actually, because following FlyLady's advice I put on my laced-up shoes every morning and also my sexy new jeans (mainly because the other ones didn't fit me anymore, me having got very thin due to lack of eating). Heh.

don't forget your hat, the one with the ostrich feathers and the enticingly french lace veil.

I haven't the hat but I have two ostrich feather dusters, will they do? I could glue them onto my hair?
