My old Photoshop version 5.0 (I also have 5.5, given to my dear [livejournal.com profile] lazlet) won't work with my new ibook, Mac OSX. It says I need the classic environment. I put in the installation disk and it says 'back up all files, install at your own risk'. I got scared.

What do I do? How do I get Photoshop onto my ibook?

Or will I keep having to run upstairs to the loft and the old imac to make icons? Because I am overwhelmed with [livejournal.com profile] sophrosyne31's icon bouny.

Hmm, I really have no idea! But I could provide you with version 6.0, if that turns out to be any help...

The "classic environment" is the old Mac OS running on your new Mac OS X. It's cool. Start it up from the System Preferences sometimes!
