Brilliant pacing, a fantastic plot structure and theme, fabulous elisions. The whole fic is just one big elision orgy. Short and great, great fun.

fabularasa's Close enough
This one nigh killed me earlier today when I finished reading it. I know Fabula Rasa from HP; this is the first SGA I'd read by her (recced by sheldrake on del.iciou.us -- thank you, Duckie!) and it is awesomely gripping. It has absolutely phenomenal rhythm and pacing, and just the most edge-of-seat build-up. It is gloriously hot (am still fanning myself) and oh, just pierced my heart. The beginning is a teensy bit slow but once it gets going: *whoo*.
