Wow. Thanks to sheldrake and isiscolo, I am now up to the level of every TV-watching, cable-owning North American person vis-à-vis Stargate Atlantis! I have just watched episode 20 of series 2 and that's all she wrote, so far! So I'm left cliff-dangling along with everyone else.

Wow. I can't believe this. One canon jumpstarted and lapped to the finish in under 4 months. Including posting and participating and whatnot!

Hm. Being part of a TV-based fps fandom is interesting, and doing it when my technology is actually up to par is so great!



I am cliffhung!!

I have also seen evidence that canon is finally converging with canon, hoho. There were the two famous chair-rolling incidents (about which I had heard much in fandom -- ah, the minutiae, the minutiae!) but there were also moments I had not heard about before:

A dialogue moment:
Zelenka talking about external weaknesses in wraith hive ships.

Sheppard: "I got a weakness for external weaknesses."

Zelenka: "Have you heard from Rodney?"

Sheppard: "I'm sure he's fine."

What a segue, eh? External weaknesss = Rodney = he's got a weakness for it. Hoho!! And oh, it works on several layers because it can be Zelenka detecting that Sheppard's weakness is Rodney, or it can be that the word 'weakness' evokes Rodney for Zelenka so he has to ask after Rodney immediately. *smiles happily*

A touching moment:
Ronon is so, so jealous of the wraith touching Rodney. Don't you touch him, wraith, he's mine, all mine!!

Another touching moment:
McKay pats Sheppard on the shoulder (on the Atlantis badge) twice and then leaves. Sheppard then looks down at the badge. I like to think he looks down at the badge (the spot where McKay has just touched him) either a) fondly or b) wonderingly. Either way: hohoho.

And wraith, sexy or what? The wraith queen is teh ultimate hot. And the wraith scientist is scrumptilious and a total match for McKay; so 'polite', too, oouaha. And so green of face.

Some pairings I want to see:
McKay / wraith scientist
Elizabeth / wraith queen
Sheppard / wraith queen ('What does a girl like her do for fun?' It is canon!!)
Ronon / McKay (okay, I've already seen that but I can see it again!)
Wraith scientist / wraith queen
Wraith queen Hive / wraith queen Allies
Bob / Steve / Mike / wraith scientist

Basically: wraith orgy, bring it on.

Oh, that's right, trinityofone already did that in Missionary Position but hey-di-hey, never too much of a wicked thing! *gg*



So when does series 3 start? *clueless but lustful*

Allies was a wonderful episode for character moments, wasn't it? I loved the bit where Sheppard stole Zelenka's coffee. In fact, Sheppard hanging out with the scientists even when Rodney isn't there made me all kinds of happy.

Season 3 starts mid-July... otherwise known as 52 days (not that I'm counting *cough*)

How will people who do not live in the Canada-US zone be able to access these episodes????? Are you in the Canada-US zone or are you faced with the same dilemma?

Oh yes, and Sheppard hanging out with the scientists! That is so true, and I must watch the coffee scene again because does he really steal Zelenka's coffee? *squees in manner of 14-year-old*

He takes the coffee as Zelenka is reaching for it, I think it counts as stealing. And the bit about the encyclopedia and "S", that had me in stitches. Sheppard and Zelenka should have more scenes together.

And who knew? Zelenka/Sheppard. God, are there any fics about them?? And where to hunt for them? *head spins*
