[livejournal.com profile] torakowalski has put a proto-bunny in my head with her Sheppard/Zelenka idea! She pointed to the fact that Sheppard and Zelenka actually talk about sex in 'Allies' -- I mean, Sheppard makes Zelenka say the word SEX, and Sheppard also steals Zelenka's coffee, and now I'm just waiting for the bunny to bite me.

I am already pondering povs!

It has suddenly hit me with the force of ten ZPMs that those two look so good together. So weird!

Duckie! *glomps you*

Are you going to write it?? I found one fun Sheppard/Zelenka on del.icio.us; it's in my tags. (I am totally into del.i.cio.u.s now, I whang everything in there in a fic-to-be-read-at-some-point category, and then once I've read it, I convert it to a rec (or delete it)).

heh, at this point I think it's probably best I don't start yet another fic that will later turn out to be completely wrong and unworkable and unfinishable - too many of those lying around already... Once this slightly hellish week of work-stress and colds and no kitchens is out of the way though, I want to have a proper look at the writing exercise stuff. Stay tuned!

And I shall look you up on del.icio.us and check out your tags! Anything for more Zelenka.

I had a plumber in the house all day yesterday, running in and out of every single room to air the radiators and whatnot with a huge loud machine going in the laundry and Radio 1 blaring in the kitchen. So I can only sympathise with your kitchen situation (I also remember the loft-conversion hell...)

:-) When are you around for being-visited purposes? Or is it best for you to go avisiting at the moment what with kitchen horror? I don't want to make you come to see me yet again; it's my turn, really. It's half-term next week, and Bank Holiday on Monday...

Sheppard/Zelenka hooray! (Must finish fic....)

I've claimed Zelenka on [livejournal.com profile] smut_69 and heh, yes, most of the fics are Z/S.

Linky.... http://severusslave.livejournal.com/60585.html

Right now I'm working on two more prompts of that table - cherries and dominant. Z/S and Z/S/M. ;D

*looks innocent* Me? I did nothing ;)

But also: squee! Yay!

This is almost tempting me to dig out the Sheppard/Zelenka plot bunny I had way back when and immediately squashed. Almost.

Dude, seriously. If anyone were to do anything with that, I would roll over and do anything (well, almost anything) for them. It's like my Semiotics and Structuralism class, but with porn.

Sheppard/Zelenka man - more people should feel the love. I mean, did you *see* the whole cute coffee cup/chatting thingy they had going on in 'Allies'? Hearts!!!

not a one, tragically!! There are some fics that I've seen which have Sheppard and Zelenka as part of a threesome or foursome - usually with Rodney and/or Beckett, but off the top of my head I can't remember anything with just the two of them, which is a desperately sad state of affairs that needs to be remedied...

*doesn't look meaningfully at you or [livejournal.com profile] sheldrake in any way*

There are some links here:

if you're into threesomes? The only ones I've read are the [livejournal.com profile] astolat fics there, which are, as ever, sublime.

I love John and Rodney, because the dynamic just works and works. That said, I can also see John/Zelenka. It's more subtle, but I suspect it has the potential to be even more insidious.

The more pairings, the merrier.

I am a pairings slut. I love to see what happens when certain people get paired, especially if it's unlikely pairings -- what the dynamic will be, what brings them together. I love McKay/Sheppard, mainly because of the gorgeous fanon, but I love other pairings, too.

Aha! That explains it. I wish I were more like you. I tend to have one OTP in each of my fandoms, and I'll enjoy reading some other pairings as long as they don't break up the OTP, but OTP breakers... let's just say I have to be really in the mood!

To my suprise I find I'm a little more flexible with SGA, because the cast is such an ensemble. It's a nice change of pace. :)

I like the concept of 'OTP breaker'; is this more like tie breaker or more like deal breaker? I don't have an OTP in SGA. I thought I did because there are so many fantastic Sheppard/McKay fics out there but when I finally discovered the canon, I didn't feel the OTP jump out at me. I mean, in some episodes the two jumped out at me but in other episodes, others would jump out at me. And I veer in and out of teh love and teh being annoyed. Beckett, e.g.: used to feel abject lust and am now annoyed. Sheppard: used to feel blah (disappointed after all the fanon goodness to discover canon!Sheppard) and then ooh, interesting after all and back to hm. McKay: somehow never fell out of love there, *g*. And this is the thing for me, I think: if I really like one character, any pairing with that character will interest me, because every pairing draws out different aspects of a character, and if I love a character I want to see all those aspects! I also tend to love characters that are a bit like pepper: they go with a whole lot of dishes. Dom in lotrips was like that for me. He was slashable with anybody.
