What a horrible, horrible game! And my darling!Cristiano Ronaldo got injured and limped off in the 33rd minute, in tears! But he was well out of the scrappy melée of a game that ensued. What a mockery of a match.

T'h (before the 33rd minute): I love the way Ronaldo runs.
Me: (gets up and imitates the way Ronaldo runs)
T'mother (after the 33rd minute): Why is he crying? Does it hurt a lot?
Me: No, he's crying because he has to stop playing and has been sent to bed early.
T'mother: Is he very young?
Me (dipping into suspiciously deep fount of knowledge): He's 21. (and yes, he's young, omg, the poor little sweetie pie, omg look at him weeping, I am in TV heaven)
T'h (drily): Lobelia loves Ronaldo weeping even more than she loves Ronaldo running.
Me: Yes, alas, this is true. (wishes she had taped the bloody match to drool over weepster!C. Ronaldo at odd moments during t'coming days)
T'father (sagely): Football is the sport where men are allowed to have emotions.
T'mother: And if you want to see really happy men, you have to see them once they've scored a goal.

I love my parents. They're over here to share the soccer madness. Um, I meant to attend t'son's Holy Communion which was today and was lovely. We sat in the garden and ate German tortes; it was a bit hectic, too, with so many guests but now calm has returned.

Pics of my sweetie cuteypie C. Ronaldo weeping at the World Cup 2006:

Pics of how honeybunny Ronaldo got injured, poor little baby:

Bonus pics of darling C. Ronaldo weeping at Euro 2004 when he was only 19, oh the cuteness:

And here are people always criticising weeping men in fanon for being unrealistic!! *is gleeful because abjectly adores the weeping men -- well, in this case, the weeping boy*

*is also shamelessly Mary Sueish (or rather Mary Motherish) in abrogating the first-person possessive pronoun to self with respect to Cristiano Ronaldo*

As there are no other fans on my flist to vie for his attention, I can safely say that for the first time in my LJ experience, a boy is well and truly "my bitch" (remember that lotrips appellation?) Oh, the rps life is all flooding back to me now, the late-night web trawls for google-pics, the latest premieres/matches...

I love it when the physios put their arms around the bunnies' waists and steer them off the pitch. I just love it.

I love to see men weep, and he weeps better than any of them. :-)

Look! I copied your idea of cropping the head. *g*

I swear, he sat on the bench and I broke. There was no point in even watching the game after that for me.

I did enjoy when the trainer was rubbing his thigh over and over and over...*ahem*. Yeah. That was nice. :)

Nice icon. But the head's the prettiest part :P There's someone on my flist who doesn't think he's hot...yet she goes crazy over Elijah Wood. I seriously need to rethink my flist. *shakes head in disgust*

I need more icons of the pretties *wanders off*

Look, the Elijah Wood thing! This adoration has always been beyond me, and he is in fact one of the very few lotrips boys I have never written. My flist is so totally bereft of football mania (with people watching Big Brother instead --- !!!!!) that I have now made a new customised flist for football only as suddenly I cannot even bear to see any SGA fics (although 3 weeks ago I was SGA ga-ga). Ah, life is strange.

Here's the top of the icon that I cropped for the other version. *g* Best of both worlds.

I wish I had taped the stupid game. I want that weeping footage! I need that weeping footage!!!

I tried to like Elijah. I did. Honest. For about a month. Then I just...couldn't. I don't understand how she can look at Elijah, then look at Ronaldo and tell me that she doesn't SEE it!

I'm not even sure what my flist is doing. I think they're all weeping over Elijah not going to Elf or ORC or something like that.

The icon. ♥

You should have taped the game! I wonder if someone would put the weeping on YouTube? Is that wrong of me for wanting to see it on YouTube? He just looked so heartbroken.

Where does one find Kaka icons?

No! I have been refreshing you.tube obsessively but it's not up there! Yet, I hope, yet. It is not wrong of us to want to see it; every cameraman in the world was drooling over it.

*feels physical need to see that footage*

Oddly, I don't post much on my lj. My flist is usually so "posty" that I end up being the one that comments to everyone's post and then posts very little in mine.

I don't think I've made a post in MONTHS. Eeep. I should change that. There are some Dutch fans that I'm sure would love to hear what I thought of the match :P

Darn it, I wasn't home so I missed the match! And awwwed, 2004 was when I first saw him and claimed him as my own. Somewhere I have a newsclipping with him crying, but I don't know where.

I liked in 2004 when he kept weeping and the way the tears would flow into his diamond earrings...

Hi! :)

I guess, I like to see him run more than I like to see him weep although he weeps so prettily... And can I say that I'm now totally hooked up on the idea of two Brazilians comforting him (Kaka and....?) and the whole group comfort thing (Figo and Cristiano....). What a mental picture or two... :D

God, he's just so pretty! Can't wait to read your fic. Also I was wondering if I could take your lips-pic for an icon?
