lobelia321Okay, finally some lovely soul has uploaded the Holland:Portugal C.Ronaldo weepfest onto you.tube! If you've been seeing my journal, you've been seing my weepfest pics, and now see them in motion. omg, *is so, so dead* This was the slashiest moment of my televisual life; it was up there with David Brent playing the guitar in The Office>. I was an emotional droolpuddle!!
Cristiano Ronaldo injured and weeping.
It's got: hurt, hurt/comfort, weepfest, perverse voyeurism of man going down, physio/footballer, close-ups of The Thigh. And at the end, omg, you get to hear him talk right at the end. In his, apparently, very strong Madeiran accent for wot he was teased as a kid. Not that I can pick a strong Madeiran accent but you know me: give me long enough and I will be able to proffer linguistic disquisitions on all things Lusitanian.
Drawbacks: Somewhat odd editing.

I find the accents quite different. Hah, even I non-Portuguese speaker can hear that. Brazilian, I must say, sounds gorgeous, so laid back and lilting. I love all those drawled nasal ãos. Hmm, I'm glad I haven't posted my fic yet because I will go back and adjust my accent-descriptions. (Nothing if not a pedant.)
