Footballers aren't the only men to weep

lobelia321Today, Tiger won the 135th Open Golf Championship at Hoylake in Liverpool. This is the first major he's won since his dad died. He dedicated this trophy to his father. (Just like Cristiano Ronaldo dedicated his penalty against England to his dead father.)
Tiger's one cool cookie and he walked round those links with icy concentration. But then he won. And the tears flowed.
I just can't resist a weeping athlete. (If, um, athlete's the right word in this case.)
Tiger: "Stevie (Williams) [caddy] said to me as we were coming up the last, 'this one is for dad.' And then, after the putt, all these emotions just poured out of me. They have been locked in there. I just miss my dad so much. I wish he could have been here to witness this.
