off on holiday: see you in two weeks!

Tomorrow morning we're off to Bonnieux in the south of France. The view from the patio where we will be staying with our friends is identical to the one you see in the picture. Also, weirdly, Bonnieux is the location for Ridley Scott's next film, A Good Year, to be released this November apparently, with Russell Crowe and some vinyards.

We were there last year, too, and it was gorgeous!

Thank you! We are leaving 3 hours pre-flight and nothing has been cancelled yet from Luton so we're keeping fingers crossed. No hand luggage is kind of freeing, too. *g*

P.S. I wrote my first-ever feedback letter to a rl published author 6 weeks ago, to Adam Thorpe about his book Ulverton (which is fantastic). And yesterday I get a postcard back, thanking me and saying nice things, and it's from his abode in Nîmes! And that is the airport we are flying to tomorrow! I can be an author-stalker!!! (I image-googled him to make sure I recognised him, just in case he was in the queue ahead of us...)

Hello. I found your name on the comments page of the one person who lists golf slash in their interests. I too found her for the same reason as you - looking to see if anyone listed golf slash AS an interest. I have written some myself and was wondering if there was a "market" for it anywhere.
