I am determined to finish a fic. So, with my wraith playlist in my ear and my notepad next to me on the dining room table, I have, over the past two days, been typing up all the handscribbled prose I have on my wraith island fic. Which I started in April, argh, why does this keep happening to me?

Current word count: 20,273.

Handscribbled A5 W.H. Smith narrow ruled refill pages to go: 20 1/2.

I am determined to type all those A5s up and then to print the whole lot out and revise it. Then to let it sit for a few days, to re-read and re-revise, and then TO POST. (omg)

You've been writing as well! And I can't remember whether I've printed it out and if so, where I've put it... so may have to print out again. It's all getting rather confusing.

I saw a book when at the National Gallery for the Velazquez exhibition, and it had that Caravaggio on the cover, the one from your Bean/Orli fic, and for a weird second I was convinced this book was by you.

It is exactly that picture wot is in your icon! And see, on the book cover it was also cropped and surrounded by white space just as it is on my LJ page. And my first thought was 'ah, Sean Bean holding the pose'.

Finish it, finish it! I'm currently labouring under the Curse of the Unfinished Writing (including callously leaving Harry Figwit in extremis, STILL not posting a promised review of Peter Pan in Scarlet in various places, and leaving a huge Orkish gang-bang in mid-action).
