He is cute and he nearly scored with that free kick. Don't know if you know it already. Mere minutes before the end, he fell unfortunately after yet another tackle by A. Cole and obviously twisted his ankle. The one he had problems with anyway. And he got substituted. *sniff*
All in all, I admitted a draw anyway, so I guess, 1:1 is okay.
15 minutes before the end whistle, I hopped in t'car to pick up t'son, immediately tuning to the match in the car radio, and next to the street corner where he was waiting for us, there was a pub with a TV screen!! I parked on double yellow lines for 5 minutes, with the radio turned up, staring out through the car window at the pub.
111
It sounded like such an excited game. At least, the radio commentators made it seem so. Heh, gone are the days when the English vilified Cristiano. They seem to have forgotten and forgiven that now. I may have to stay up till 10 tonight to watch the highlights on TV. And I meant to go to bed early!!! Foiled by football.

Yes, iwas exciting because the teams were quite evenly matched. In the first half Man Utd was clearly more dominant, while in the second half (probably after Jose screamed himself silly in the pause) Chelsea did more. So I thought the draw was deserved. :)
Gads, and I have to write an entire lecture inbetween now and the highlights. Argh! I spent all day typing up wraith fic! I know what you mean. I have to prepare that damn class tomorrow since I was dumb enough to want to go the week before I even take over. Damn! Maybe I'll call my teacher and tell her that I will come in after the class because a) 8 o'clock in the morning and b) Is there even much sense in me sitting there for 1 and a half hour doing nothing? Hmm...
Spent today putting that list for the conference together. Well, most of it. Will have to do the rest later. Argh!
