A friend rang up; his godson has season tickets to the Emirates Stadium but won't be here for Christmas.

T'younger son and I are going to see Arsenal vs Blackburn Rovers on Sat, 23 Dec!!!!!

I woke up at 7.30 this morning, in a state of excitement about this.

You're more jealous than when I saw Kaká?? Wow. I wanted to see Arsenal:Man U but it was sold out. Still, now that I am a member of Arsenal I will get to see Cristianochen in the flesh in 2007. I WILL!

Oh, t'h is from Australia, and although he got excited about the World Cup this year because Kewlie and co were there for the first time in decades, he's more into cricket and rugby. I'm the European of the family and gaga over football and have now indoctrinated t'younger son as well, *g*. Anyway, in such matters I would brook no rivalry; if there are tickets to be had, I grab them. It is funny, though, being t'football-w and not t'football-h although since stumbling upon football slash this World Cup I ain't surprised any longer, hon, *g*. Also, I suspect t'h rather likes it... *g*
