Productive things I have done over the past day-and-a-half:

1. I have discovered that Derek Benfield is an internationally renowned playwright of comedies and that Hull is the centre of the universe.

Am still reeling.

2. I have scan-read David Cook's Missing Persons, the novel whereupon Hetty Wainthropp is based. I found out that Hetty is a gin-toting, bum-pinching old cynic, Robert does nothing but sleep and fart, and Geoffrey is a sixteen-year-old punk with a nose stud, wildly-coloured hairdoes and eye make-up who loses his virginity within pages of being introduced and who occasionally dons girl's dresses.

Am still reeling.

3. I have watched The Kiss of Geoffrey and Girl repeatedly, followed by repeated watchings of The Other Kiss of Caesar and Xena. As fate (and eternal lust) will have it, Dominic happens to be positioned on the left-hand side of the TV screen and slanting his head back for t'kiss while Karl is on the right-hand side and slanting his head forwards.

Continue to reel over cut'n'paste possibilities of these two scenes. Am getting cross-eyed with trying mentally to superimpose the one scene on t'other.

4. Have discovered this picture of Billy and an orc (alerted by [livejournal.com profile] gabbyhope and [livejournal.com profile] undone27).

Am reeling with potential of Billy/Orc slash. Must find out name of orc actor!!

Here's the link to the Billy-embracing-orc pic:

Here's the pic itself:

Wherein you will find Wainthropp lust, Karl lust and Billy/Orc lust.

Glad to see you are once again spending time productively: and exactly how many DB plays have you read? There are *none* in our uni library, boohiss, so I may have to skulk around drama section of the town library tomorrow in a mad fannish-type-way.

If Hull is The Centre of the Universe (which it *is*) does that make me the Queen of All Creation? It should. And, ont he way to t'town library, I have to pass t'bakery. Yes, THAT bakery. Sadly unadorned wi'advertising though.

Yes, you see, this is one of the few things I did not do productively: read an actual DB play. But I did look at their titles on the library's OPAC!! And I *will* read!! Oh, yes, I will.

Hm. DB possibly not quite as universally renowned as we initially hoped.

Hail, oh Queen of Creation.

I still won't eat actual frozen puds, though. There is a shred of sanity in there somewhere.
