weather wet summer

lobelia321Yesterday evening, the sky looked upside down. There was a layer of very far-away clouds that looked like a knitted pattern. In front of that, there floated grey smoky clouds, very fast. After a while, it felt as if I were hanging upside down from the ground, looking down on the earth from a very great height, down onto a snowy landscape, covered in blue ripples and shadows, past clouds seen from space.
Today, we got caught in the rain. We had umbrellas with us but after a while, the rain started to jump up at us from below. We arrived home with wet shoes and the bottom halves of our trousers soaked. Now there is only the drip-drip of water falling from leaves, and in the East the sky is white and bright.
