I thought I had nothing to post about but then something [livejournal.com profile] sheldrake said made me remember that yes, I do! It is wildly exciting, as you've come to expect from this LiveJournal. Hoho. On Wed night I went to the gym (!! yes! sic!) and I stayed for one hour on the treadmill / cylce / crosstrainer machines for the sole reason that I became hooked on Supernanny and had to watch it all with my ipod phones plugged into the gym TV screen.

I never watch TV. I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms!

There's something sickly moreish and smug-making about Supernanny. I think I can only watch one episode every six months but it's fascinating stuff when I do.

Tomorrow I go to Ikea. I'm a bit dissatisfied with my day today which I spent mooching around in coffee shops, reading Kinsella, writing only half of a thriller chapter, shopping in too many shops (reading Kinsella's shopaholic series is having a bad effect!) and feeling alternatively hungry or in need of imminent pee.

I did, though, write a draft of a text for a catalogue they've asked me to at the Skagens Museum. So that's something, I guess!

draft of the catalogue is a definite accomplishment!

Supernanny ties deeply into the moralistic unspoken smugness of parenthood -- at least our kids aren't like that!

Supernanny's horror families make me feel like Supermum!! I love it.

Oh, the Dom!

Lobelia! I just found out that Kiran Shah is going to be at the Ring*Con in Fulda this weekend! I'm excited like a school girl at that, do you want me to get you an autograph? *bounces*

*hides head*

I once sat next to Kiran Shah in the underground in London. I was in a total state! I should have asked him for an autograph then!! The alibi would have been the children.

o god, I don't know what to reply.
