omg nano
I am so desperate to do nanowrimo this year. Well, I did it already, of course, back over Easter, if you recall, and I finished the novel in a month, yes, yes, yes. But I so much wanted to do it with the whole world, all together, lathered up into a frenzy. I bought the kit and everything. And I just subscribed in order to get the emails, and have been jealously ogling chatroom arrangements for local meets.
But, argh, I want to finish the thriller! I can't just take a month out!
Grrrgrralkjhhh. This is frustrating!
Next year, I swear, I'm going to clear the decks come November!
Oh, nano. *sighs*

Date: 2007-10-17 10:19 pm (UTC)Do Nanowrimo! You can always finish that other one later. The mistake I made with my April nano was to use characters and a plot skeleton I already had in my head. I think it's best to follow Chris Baty to the letter: sit down on 1 November and make something up there and then, from scratch. That's what I wanted to test out this November! *boohoo*
