What's this flag for adult content that everybody is mentioning? Should I be aware of something that I'm not aware of?

Help! I seem to have missed out on something important while on nanowrimo vacation.

I read all this but I can't see anything about adult content...?

You need to set your birth year on your profile. You can hide it from everyone but it's all about "keeping the children safe". Also, go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom and reset to don't collapse or whatever it says.
