I just now discovered this while reactivating some long-not-visited custom friends lists!

So: Happy birthday, Cristiano Ronaldo! Ah, he's 23 today!

And 23, as we all know, is of course the gorgeous age of Dominic Monaghan and Orlando Bloom while on location in New Zealand in that momentous year of 2000! I have such a soft spot for that age.

All our babychens are growing up!!! As is my own son, who all of a sudden is 14, so I'm coming over all maternal today.

Parabéns, Cristiano! Happy 23!

And that's what he looked like as a little boy!

Oh, the deliciousness of that New Zealand year. And those two other 23-year-olds of yore.

I have a mega-soft spot for this picture despite my ethical issues with paparazzi privacy invasion. But oh, look at the big boy cuddling up to his mum! That's how I see myself in 7 years' time. *wipes maternal tear from eye* Well, it's a dream-self, anyway. Let's hope t'boys will then be so cuddley-fond!

I don't know: does slash mean something different for mothers of sons than it does for others? Is there a certain factor that gets activated when one's own boys start to approach the age of one's drool-objects?

Sigmund? Any thoughts?

23. Puh. Somehow, with every year he gains, I feel less like a cradle robber, even though, of course, I get older as well. So yes - Sigmund?

Heh. Cristiano is such a momma's boy.

Lolz. Well, relatively speaking we'll still be cradle robbers. I mean, just 23. Heh. He' just gotten better and prettier.

One thing that will never change is the gap in years between us and them. *sighs happily*

I am somewhat... amused to find out that my birthday is on the same day as a football player. Considering how I feel about football, this is kind of hilarious, lol. A bit like my brother sharing his birthday with our president (we all hate the president in my family). *g* Are TPTB trying to tell us something, you think?

Thank you. And HAHAHAHA! Well, TPTB should know that's bound to happen, oh... never, lol. Football and political slash are two things that I will never ever ever dip into. *g*

Cristiano Ronaldo surreptitiously ogled Tony Blair's suit-clad chest.

"Now that I am no longer prime minister," Tony said, slowly pulling his tie off his starched collar with a swish, "I am no longer in the public eye."

"But I am," said Cristiano.

Paparazzi were falling over each other in the bushes.

"We'll call this a matter of national security, shall we?" said Tony, as he reached for Cristiano's polo neck.

"Hm." Cristiano frowned. "Sort of like foreign relations?"

"Exactly," murmured Tony.
