After my year spent away from totally-mad!fandom activity (1/2 year depressed and dealing with job stress, the other 1/2 year spent sedated and medicated), the whole madness seems to have caught back up with me with a vengeance.

I barely know where to look and what to do! Of an evening, do I:

Catch up on my SGA series 4 viewing?

Revise Ichor, the wraithfic from heaven?

Read scanlations of hot porny manga action?

Post and comment and surf on t'LJ??

Write Desert Prince?

Write orig?

Watch one of the three Bollywood DVDs borrowed from t'reference library?

Play The Sims?

Visit Second Life?

Spend trashy TV time with t'family???

See what I mean? When medicated, I was very into Second Life and The Sims but these have now totally been relegated to the backburner.

Not to mention, people sidetracking me with pics of Panic at the Disco or links to hot John Barrowman bum and kissing action.

isn't the artwork for viewfinder gorgeous? sadly, i can't go near things which are dub con or non-con, so i haven't read anything beyond the first manga ... though, i did read the little extra for the end of volume 3, the one about new year's eve - did you just read that? i laughed so loudly i'm sure the people down the street could hear me!

The art work is heavenly! The whole uke/seme thing intrigues me because it is like a ready-made canon; it's as if they aren't origchars at all but simply the ready-made 'uke' and the 'seme', and then the comic is like a fanfic.

I don't know, but I want you to know that as of two minutes ago, I have now watched ALL of SGA Season 4! Hoorah!

Maybe you could make a schedule for yourself, with one evening per week devoted to each of these things. Only you have 10 things, so it'll have to be over a two-week period. You could have different colours for different fannish activities. It could be an Excel spreadsheet! :)

I struggle with this same dilemma. My poor Sims! They are woefully neglected.

Didn't you have Sims-mania some years ago??? The thing with The Sims is they are claustrophobic. You're not connecting with the wider world. It's just youyouyou. And they're sort of annoying, the way they're so predictable and need to do their homework all the time.

Half-way through season ???? You're fast!! (And obsessed.)

I have been sidelined by rl agitation (move to America? move not to America?) and hence been less than usually obsessive. It's so sweet of you to say you'd rec Ichor! Did you get my email about it? *g*

I feel your pain! It's madness, being back with such a vengeance! I have a hard time concentrating on anything besides wannareadwannawrite -- particularly with the new fandom love. It's a whole lot of fun, but I have to keep myself somewhat under control or graduation exams are so not going to be fun.

I've written, I think, an average of at least 500 words a day, since I returned full-force.

And now I have to listen to what to do with people killing/hurting/raping/stealing from/wahtever other people, because it's one of my Criminal Law weeks and I have to know that stuff. Even if there's a definite lack of pretty.
