I have been feeling very low today. I couldn't stand any place: I can't stand being at home; I can't stand the café I always go to (same old same old); everything is stale. I wanted to write; it stuck in my gullet.
Then I came home and did some comfort-watching, a movie I haven't seen in years: Dilwale dulhania le jayenge. *sigh* I haven't watched to the end yet but it is a lovely film, silly and touching, and SRK/Kajol are such a heterosexual OTP.

And the film has something sweet and innocent about it. Plus Kajol and SRK sizzle. There are some endlessly cute scenes in Switzerland. But also a lot of shlock. And there's Karan Johar in a secondary role, and goodness me, is he gay or what?
It gets on my nerves a bit the way in the Punjabi scenes, Kajol sort of takes a backseat and it's all about SRK. She was so feisty in the first half and then turns into a wallflower.
And also, the dad of SRK is so cute. I do love Anupam Kher. Did you ever see Hum Aapke Hain Kaun? That film has a lot of flaws but Kher is not one of them... *sighs*
