So I'm watching my little darling (who's not so little anymore! my, my, he's grown! what shoulders!) Cristiano Ronaldo tonight. Once Manchester United / Barcelona is over, I will post Ichor, my Sheppard/wraith fic! I've already formatted it, all ready to go!

I have a very soft spot for Baby!Cristiano but I have to say, he did look very, very good tonight. T'h said, "ooh there's the Cristiano wet sari moment."

Welcome back to CristianoWorld. Yup the lad's filled out some this past twelvemonth. And the goals. My God, the GOALS! It's not just the quantity either - feel the width he scores like no one else scores (phew!).

Him and Rooney still hug a lot every time either one scores; but now he also has this little protege, Nani (who's a bit of a dork, truth be told).

ANYWAYS! The lads hung on grimly for a victory that the pundits described as "full of character" (ie. workmanlike rather than brilliant). Next-up, they need to whup Chelsea's ass after last weekend.

I'm hoping that World Cup Slash will revitalise itself as Euro2008 Slash pretty damn soon.

He didn't used to score them as promiscuously as he has done this season. Because he's not a striker (officially), he can do long shots. He's also got very good at distance free kicks over that amusing "wall" of opposition players standing in line jigging from footo to foot and clutching their groins. There was one this season where he scored with his back to the goal-mouth, back-heeling the ball AND sending it between the defender's legs and into the net.

When he's on-song, he's aces. Last night wasn't one of those times.

Nani is Portuguese, I believe. When he and Anderson (Brazilian) arrived at ManU rumour and the News of the World hath it that Ronny and his entourage of cousins laid on some "escort agency ladies" for them at Ronny's little place at Alderley Edge**. Unfortunately, these "discreet" ladies went straight to the NOTW with full details, and pics from their mobile phones. Not that any fangirl worth their salt BELIEVES any of this, of course ...
