techie question video formats
Jul. 14th, 2008 02:41 pmHello, techie-knowledgeable listsibs,
how do I convert an mp4 file to a file compatible with powerpoint (i.e to mov or mpeg2)?
Here is my dilemma. I have downloaded a youtube clip in an mp4 format. Powerpoint does not recognise this format. My Apple does not recognise avi. So the format I need for my Apple-run Powerpoint is Quicktime's mov.
Can anyone help?
Thank you! *is going spare here*

Date: 2008-07-15 09:56 pm (UTC)It is bloody fiddly stuff, getting all this from youtube onto powerpoint but once done, it'll be there forever and no more schlepping of DVDs and fast-forwarding and waiting for DVD 'THIS OPERATION IS NOT PERMITTED' messages in lectures. Did I tell you that I've been moved from the School of Art to the Department of Film Studies?
What next? They'll get me to teach forensic science or somesuch. Hey ho.
