I have to admit that I love Angelina and Brad, so my answer is completely biased in their favour.
The way I see it: the media/photographers would hound them until they got pictures of the babies. They already have four young children and don't need photographers chasing them through the streets of Nice.
This way, everyone (i.e. me!!) gets to see the babies, Angelina and Brad get some control over the situation, and some lucky charity gets to cover its cost for another few years.
I totally agree! :-) I'm not a fan of Jolie's; her pouty lips get on my nerves, and I can't forgive Pitt for leaving Aniston but! Hats off to them for cleverly milking the media situation. You are right: they would be exposed to this anyway.
I think I would have chosen about three options in the poll. LOL! Some celebs are vile. The media AND public are blood hounds and it wouldn't be an issue were it not for them. Is the money going to charity? If the money is going to charity, good on them!
My take? The public are blood hounds who keep buying the magazines and watching the tabloid shows. The magazines are stupid enough to throw all of that money away on a photograph -- so? If somebody can make money off of it, go for it! But for those two, I'm glad it's them because they'll donate the money like they did with the other baby. :)
Yes, the gin and tonic option was somewhat weighted in its own favour... I am all for the donating the money! As rawiyaparand said above, the media would hound them anyway so this way, hey, why not squeeze some money out of them? I don't see the head of British Gas donating his fat bonus to charity.
I chose "the media are blood hounds" but I also agree with "the money is going to charity. What's not to applaud?"
I think the world is crazy, but at least they use its craziness to help others. It's more than you can say about many celebs. Besides, they are cute together. I do wonder how those children will turn out to be when the grow up, despite them being great parents (apparently). It's just too insane a life.
The thing with the children is weird but there we are. Plenty of people are adding up the kiddies and are not famous. I am in two minds about the media: yes, they are blood hounds but without a public they'd be nowhere so it's a circle: the media needs the readership, the readership need the media.
