I have a hate relationship with this man. A haterelationship, I tell you! I have castigated him as boring! And as dumb! And as losing the brief boyish blush of youth with middle age.

I

, I repeat, do not, image-google him after a hiatus of four-or-so years, nor do I then watch clips of him on youtube or post a picture of him to my LiveJournal.

I blame that book I am reading at the moment (or not at the moment, as it turns out. At the moment, I am image-drooling, it seemeth.

And Figwit. I blame Figwit.

It is my permanent condition.

And I didn't even post the pic where you can see his pointy shiny shoes.

Though: Whatever happened to the shirts??

He went to Hollywood and got a stylist? Who burned them? In a ritual sacrifice?

And thank God for that. *g*

Also, methinks Lobelia protests too much. And I have to wonder why she thinks Orlando is dumb.

Ach, Azey, I have protested too much about O. Bloom for close to nine years now. (You know me too well!!)

Oh, and there was some LJ kerfuffle about Orlando being stupid or not, and I came down on the side of 'of course he's stupid'. *protesteth too much again*

Ah, what the hell, why fight it?

Talking of Brad Pitt: have you seen Burn after reading?

I wasn't aware we were talking about Brad. Or that my alive-ness was in question.

But no, I haven't seen it yet. :)

We were not talking about Brad at all, you have rumbled me. It's just that I picked his icon to reply to you and thought 'oh, Brad'. I was basically just talking to myself...

I just saw it just now. I won't spoiler then! *g*

Goodness. I am shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

This, my freind, is Orlando Bloom from my entry fandom (aka Legolas).

I'm 43. I've lost track of how many times I've read the book. Plus he's kind of not quite my type.

I liked the Oliphants and the Ents a lot though.

I'm 45. Was that part of the topic here? Heck, let's cast our ages out there.

Oliphants? OLIPHANTS?

Woman, it's oliphaunts. *implodes with geekdom*

I love the ents! The movies were a travesty! The ents are droolsome and totally slashy because there are NO ENTWIVES.

Orlando Bloom? Well, I said I had a hate love relationship with him. Because mostly he's not my type, and then all of a sudden, I'll fall in love with him quite violently (especially when he grows out his curls, guh). It's Viggo Mortensen who's not my type at all but he's great as Aragorn and I have slashed him...

*cackles with you* Well, there seems to be "New York I love you" (I think that's what it's called) in the pipeline - but the concept of "different directors do different short stories dedicated to the true spirit (as licencensed by the tourism office) of a city" never appealed to me.

But he is pretty. Very, very, VERY pretty. *sighs*

New York, I love you - sort of spin off or same concept, new town-thing from the equally stupid named <a href="http://www.imdb.com/find?s=tt&q=paris+je+t%27aime>Paris, je t'aime. (Really, what's next? Berlin, ich liebe dich????) As I gathered, an assortment of mixed short stories. Which are somehow connected via New York and, duh, love. Orlando plays a composer. Don't know of a release date. Read that it was shown at TIFF and the lovely ladies on the Orlando Fan Boards went into overdrive about his acting. (So, what's new?) Me too, me too. If this is any consolation.

Where can one see this footage, and er, what is TIFF? Also: Berlin, ich liebe dich?? Yes!! I would be SO there in that particular fandom!! I already wrote Dorli in Schöneberg. I would wallow!

But: Orlando as a composer...????

From: [identity profile] minavox.livejournal.com
TIFF: Toronto International Film Festival. At least I think so, too lazy to look it up.

In Schöneberg??? Where can I find it?
But Berlin, ich liebe dich could never ever happen - I can imagine Berlin used as a prop for a lot of topics, but love???

And yes, I also have my doubts about the composer thing. But who knows....? Not that I getting my hopes up or something.
