Half-term:
a) Spent one week supervising teenagers in various configurations (at one point, there were over 20 of them in one London double-decker bus, and a handful of quaking-in-their-boots parents). I am totally exhausted by this (if mentally energised, in a weird way.) The teenagers were half English boys and half French exchange girls.

b) Halloween! T'younger son has taken it unto himself to organise annual halloween parties. After worrying about chauffeuring teenagers all over southern England, a handful of ten-year-olds leaves me entirely unfazed.

c) No nano! *sheds tear*

d) Stalkers from my high-school days have appeared on my facebook. What irritates me: facebook's insistence on the exclusive use of the third person singular for updates. Facebook is totally grammatically challenged!!!

e) Whatever.

I know what you mean about Facebook. I hate the third person update thing, makes me feel like Suede from Project Runway. Also, it disturbs me that every time I do something, it broadcasts the news to everyone else. "Tara has just gone to the bathroom. She's going to be a while."

I am used to being able to limit who sees what on LJ, and to be able to finetune it to the nth degree via complicated customised friends lists. And Facebook is just there for all to see! Bleurgh. And then people tag you on photos and I'm thinking, argh, what if I don't want my visage plastered across the globe...???!!
