Look who was at the Golden Globes!

Whee! This is from Getty Images who describe it as 'Shah Rukh Khan and guests'. How ignorant are they? Is that not Karan Johar?? But who is the lady?

ETA: The lady is his wife Gauri.

And the thing around his neck? Yes, it is a sequined tie.

I suspected she was his wife but I can't remember seeing her although I must have image-googled this at one point. How sweet of them to be there and to support a sort-of-Indian film!!

Have you seen Slumdog Millionaire? It's had good reviews and it has music by A.R. Rahman (*swoon*). I'm just listening my way through Jodha Akbaar, a film I must now see, if only for the music. It is gorgeous! I want to read Q&A first, the novel that Slumdog is based on. I bought it last year but never got around to reading it.

P.S. What is that thing near his throat that SRK is wearing? Is that some sort of singlet/vest/undershirt? Or is that (*gulp*) a tie??

I wasn't sure if I should link you to this, since it has the usual sort of comments, but it links to the original article, so.

Oh yes, linky-linky me to everything! I think Amitji is rather cute in his raging envy of art-house movies. *laughs*

P.S. I've not seen Slumdog but I'm reading Q&A, Vikas Swarup's novel wot it's based on, and really enjoying it! A rollicking read. And it has lots of filmi stars in it. And Amitabh gets a mention!! Maybe he didn't like this...?? *grins*

*g* maybe. But one commenter says he doesn't really slam the film anyway.
