I'm just too lazy to start all over again with the customising and the filter-friending and the friending! my, I have hundreds of friends and to go through each and every one of them and click on their names all over again... *feels tired*

I can certainly see why people like it and think it's a good thing, but... I just can't be bothered, I'm afraid. If this was 2002 again, and DW existed then, and I could see into the future... then I would probably be confused. Er, anyway, you know what I mean. I'm happy to have set up my camp there, there's even a little welcome post. I just don't feel like going camping right now.

Sorry, too late to make sense! I think I was just trying to say that while Dreamwidth may well be the better choice, this is where I've ended up.

Nothing to do with my landlord really, except he needs to know I'm moving out. I've been looking for a while - I wanted somewhere a bit less decrepit, and with a shower - I'm tired of washing my hair in the bath after two years. I found a fairly cheap and quite nice house, so I decided to go for it - it's a bit more money, but I'll have lots of rooms. :)

I'm trying to set my DW up as an original-writing journal, but it's so tiring with the starting over and the figuring out policies or something, I don't even know. *flops*

I'm reading here more than anywhere else. And will certainly NOT force people to comment over there.

DW seems to be a huge hit in a very specific circle within my flist (this groups is a group of people friendly with each other, who seem to be heavily into SGA). But a lot of my flist is not yet there.

Anyway, I am reading you here. And most people here, and not there. Mind you, I don't doubt that by the end of this year that DW will be so very shiny and full of neat gimmicks that none of will be able to resist it.

But not yet. Not 'til they solve the problem of crossposting with filters (currently, you can't) nor reading RSS feeds off LJ or elsewhere that were locked (currently, you can't). Until that golden day arrives, I am mostly still here.

I'm not getting one, so I'll be around! Or if I do get one, I probably won't switch over. LJ is the one that has stayed through various forays to other journals. Really amazing how much talk of it there has been on my fl. It's like all of LJ is migrating.
Oh, and it bothers me because every time I see DW I think 'Dr Who'
